The Gentleman’s Thumper

The long-running road version of Yamaha’s Big Single platform, the SR is timeless in it’s design and character. Heavier than the TT and XT with a relaxed riding position and tall gearing for cruising, the SR is a great all-rounder. The SR400 version was produced all the way up to 2021, making it one of the longest production runs of any motorcycle in history.

It’s simplicity made it a favorite for custom builders, and it’s classic styling and thumping exhaust note have made it a cult favorite around the world.
